The Changemaker Playbook is a practical guide to social engagement that we developed in 2021 in collaboration with the Changemaker Academy. Spanning 84 pages, the first edition brought together methods, exercises, and resources to help people find their own effective path to social engagement—from volunteering and politics to social entrepreneurship and activism.

In 2026, we were once again commissioned by the Changemaker Academy to completely redesign the Playbook and further develop its content. This time, the focus was more strongly on democracy education, civic engagement, and the question of how people today can actively contribute to strengthening democratic structures. The redesign combines strategic storytelling, visual clarity, and a contemporary editorial design into a tool that provides guidance, motivates, and inspires people to take action.
